Internet Retailer

A globally distributed magazine dealing with all aspects of e-retailing, from Chicago-based publisher Vertical Web Media. They run yearly conventions that deal with a wide range of topics: e-commerce, web design, search engine optimization, email marketing, and more. They also publish informative books/guides that expand upon one area of e-retailing: Top 500 (profiles of the 500 largest retail website based by annual sales), Guide to E-Commerce Technology, Guide to Web Site Design & Usability, Buyer's Guide (compiles all internet products and service providers into a categorized guide).

What YourNet did...

• Standards compliant XHTML / CSS / javascript for all of their product mini-sites.
• E-commerce product forms to allow site users to purchase any product via credit card or PayPal Express Checkout.
• Custom registration system that allowed site users to sign up for any of their yearly conventions.
• Integration of ad-serving software that allowed Internet Retailer sales staff to sell ad space on their main site.
• Created a customizable sales and subscriptions reporting system for their managers.
• Integrated streaming video of interviews done at their yearly convetions.
• Assisted with creation of email marketing templates.
